These services are designed for builders and homeowners who want expert guidance throughout a project. You can choose your level of support needed by selecting one of our services below. Use the hours when you need them for review, markups, and decision support.
On-Call Consulting
$250
For when you need quick guidance on a specific challenge. We’ll walk you through your options and help you avoid the common pitfalls.
This option includes:

One hour via phone or google meet/Zoom to go over plans, process, starting points, questions, etc.

Meeting to be recorded for client review later
This option does not include:

Plans, selections, materials, etc. review prior to meeting

Building estimate/proposals during meeting

Pre-Construction Consulting
$4,500
We walk you through the entire pre-construction process (planning, design, fixtures, materials, bids, etc) up to submitting an estimate. We can also execute the estimate and contract if you decide to use us as your General Contractor for your project.
This retainer is for 18 hours of consulting and includes the following:

Pre-Construction site walkthrough

Moisture and durability review of assemblies and details

Health-forward material guidance for materials and products
-
Insulation guidance on spray foam, fiberglass, rockwool, etc.

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing plan reviews for system locations, EMF/RF/EF protocols, efficiency, healthy systems, materials, and proper installation practices

Assistance in vetting architects, designers, and trades
-
Annotated plan and specification markups
This retainer is collected at beginning of pre-construction phase which includes 30 hours of service that includes planning, meetings, site visits, calls, estimates, and related work. The retainer is paid up front and billed against as time is invested. Time is billed in 15 minute increments. You’ll receive weekly updates on the balance to keep the process transparent. If the balance of the retainer is getting low, we resubmit it for the same amount or for an agreed upon amount for the remaining pre-construction work.
If a client approves one of our estimates for building and move under contract, any unused retainer balance is credited toward your Project Management fee. If the estimate is not approved, any remaining retainer balance is refunded.

Construction Consulting
$15,000
We're a resource for you for the entirety of your project to make sure you feel confident and comfortable in the build process.
We review all pre-construction and current construction documents (planning, design, fixtures, materials, bids, IFCs, floor plans, engineered plans, etc). We schedule on site visits/inspections for major phase completion (Foundation, framing, MEPs, pre-drywall, etc.).
This retainer is for 60 hours and includes the following:

MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) plan reviews for system locations, EMF/RF/EF protocols, efficiency, healthy systems, materials, and proper installation practices

The retainer is billed against as time is invested. Time is billed in 15 minute increments. You’ll receive weekly updates on the balance to keep the process transparent. If the balance of the retainer is getting low, we resubmit it for the same amount or for an agreed upon amount for the remaining consulting services needed.
